This week as part of our ‘Art Attack’ topic, the children explored the work of differently abled artists and they had a go at trying to paint blindfolded or with using the paintbrushes in their mouths! This helped the children to understand and appreciate how those artists have persevered and been resilient in overcoming challenges to make their artwork.
We have also been busy creating collages and concentric circles, after learning about Matisse and Kandinsky. In maths this week, we have been exploring 3D shape and the children then created their own junk modelling robots!
In talk for writing, we have been learning about one of the children’s favourite stories… The Three Little Pigs! They have produced some really amazing writing- take a look!
